Glen Wakeman is a global consumer financial services executive with twenty years' experience as a leader in complex global financial organizations.
Glen became the CEO of Money Mart Financial Services in January of 2017, assuming responsibility for enterprise transformation and growth. By focusing on data analytics, six sigma efficiency, and embedding compliance in our day-to-day routines, he has modernized the organization to facilitate continued evolution and growth.
Prior to joining Money Mart Financial Services, during his 20-year career at GE Capital, Glen had roles of increasing responsibility in operations, technology, business development, P&L leadership, country leadership and regional leadership. In a 5-year period, he built the GE Money Latin America Region from a start up to a 9-country region with 17,000 employees, 1000 branches, and a wide range of lending and fee products that serviced over 5 million customers.
Glen's experience is diverse. He has lived in 6 countries and worked in 33. He has served as CEO of a regional bank, co-founder of a software start-up, writer, board member, strategic advisor and CEO coach. He received his formative training at GE Capital and the University of Chicago.
Jim Odell is Money Mart Financial Services’ EVP and General Counsel. He brings over 30 years of international experience in the financial services and banking industries in both in-house general counsel roles and private practice.
Prior to joining Money Mart Financial Services in April 2017, Jim served in general counsel roles at UBS and the Corporate and Investment Bank at Citigroup, where he advised on many of the industry’s most significant transactions and regulatory matters, most notably during the financial crisis and its aftermath. He was a partner and the head of the financial services and capital markets teams at several prominent NY-based law firms. In private practice, Jim concentrated on M&A, finance, and financial services, banking and securities regulation.
Jim's experience extends to a wide range of businesses within the financial services industry, including commercial and investment banking, consumer and private banking, brokerage, asset management, fintechs, non-bank lending and financial services, payment services, settlement and clearing. He has an established record of leading large, complex legal and compliance teams, as well as liaising with federal and state banking and commercial regulatory authorities, including the Federal Reserve, the US Treasury, the CFPB, federal and state business, securities and banking regulators, and law enforcement.
Scott Cohen is a financial services industry leader with over 25 years of diverse leadership experience across the finance discipline. From funding fintechs, to navigating the internet bubble, to rebuilding after the 2008 mortgage crisis, Scott has led a dynamic career helping companies navigate challenges and leverage opportunities to position for success.
Scott became the Chief Financial Officer of Money Mart Financial Services in February 2020 after serving as the company’s Chief Accounting Officer for four years. As CFO, his mandate is to improve enterprise value and customer loyalty through automated, reliable, data-driven guidance. He focuses on data analytics, six sigma efficiency, and responsible practices.
Prior to joining Money Mart Financial Services, Scott spent 10 years at Ally Financial (formerly GMAC), helping restructure and manage through the 2008 economic downturn. Scott was instrumental in the rebuilding of the company’s mortgage business and the divestiture of its European operations.
Prior to Ally, Scott held leadership roles within JPMorgan Chase and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Notably, his experience includes developing and structuring innovative finance products and leading teams engaged in over fifty acquisitions and accelerated transition projects.
Scott received his formative training at the University of California (Berkley) and Columbia Business School and has studied extensively at Cornell’s Change Management and Leadership Programs. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and valuation analyst.
Mark McNally leads Money Mart Financial Services' strategic planning, management and execution for retail as Executive Vice President, Retail Operations. His deep business experience and commitment to integrity, excellence, and teamwork drive the organization's performance and culture.
With over 25 years of experience in a variety of roles, Mark has been an instrumental leader through much of the company's history. He began his career as a Branch Manager, progressing to District Manager and Regional Vice President in the Canadian market, most notably the Ontario & East territories.
Prior to assuming his current role, Mark led Money Mart’s Operations Support functions, providing strategic leadership in the areas of real estate, contact centers, operational controls, loss prevention, and communications.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from Concordia University
Money Mart Financial Services’ CIO since 2018, Sankha Ghosh is responsible for technology transformation and digitization of the enterprise. Sankha brings over 25 years of IT leadership experience and expertise in enterprise data management, analytics, process automation, AI/ML, digital technology innovation, banking/lending platform implementation, organizational design, and talent optimization.”
Most recently Sankha held the position of SVP, Technology at Synchrony Financial. In this role he led a team of 250 IT professionals to drive technology strategy and initiatives across enterprise operations, contact centers and consumer bank. Most notably, his team was responsible for the re-platform of their online banking technology.
Prior to Synchrony, Sankha held numerous IT leadership roles within GE Capital business units, including Commercial Lending and Leasing, Consumer Finance, Digital Banking, Treasury and Asset Management.
Earlier in his career at GE, Sankha graduated from GE’s 2-year Executive Management Program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Computer Information Systems.
Rob Cornish joined Money Mart Financial Services in 2019. As Chief HR Officer, he leads the organization’s overall people strategy: talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, organizational design, employee engagement, and culture. Rob’s mandate is to support the company’s business goals by helping each Money Mart Financial Services employee succeed.
Rob’s HR career spans 30 years of varied human resources leadership. He previously led HR and Employee Relation teams as VP, Human Resources at OneMain Financial. He also has experience providing strategic HR guidance to a diverse array of businesses in a private HR consulting practice.
Rob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Iona College.
