Since our founding in 1979, Money Mart Financial Services, previously known as Dollar Financial Group, Inc., has provided accessible and convenient financial services to unbanked and under-banked consumers.

Glen Wakeman

Chief Executive Officer

Glen Wakeman has been CEO of Money Mart Financial Services since January of 2017 and is responsible for the transformation of the enterprise. He is a Global Consumer Financial Services Executive with formative training at GE Capital and the University of Chicago. During his 20 year career at GE Capital, Wakeman had roles of increasing responsibility in operations, technology, business development, P&L leadership, Country Leadership and Regional Leadership. He has lived in 6 countries and worked in 32. Over a 5 year period, he built the GE Money Latin America Region from a start up to a 9 country region, servicing over 5 million customers, 1000 branches, with a range of lending and fee products and 17,000 employees. Wakeman was also the CEO of a regional bank, the co- founder of a software start-up, writer, board member, strategic advisor and CEO coach.

Brett Goodwin

Chief Financial Officer

Brett Goodwin joined Money Mart Financial Services as the Chief Financial Officer in September 2017. Brett brings over 25 years of leadership experience across most aspects of the finance discipline within the financial services industry, including Capital Markets, Treasury, FP&A, Audit, and business line CFO roles.

Before joining the company, Brett held numerous finance and risk management leadership roles at GE Capital. Most recently he served as Managing Director of GE Corporate Treasury, where he was responsible for leading the implementation of an Interest Rate Risk Management program, finance fund transfer system, and supporting GE Capital America’s divestiture activities. Brett was also CFO of GE Capital’s Corporate Lending, Capital Markets, and Canadian business units. In addition, Brett was a CFO of a risk unit set up to deal with the financial crisis.

Earlier in his career, Brett worked on GE’s corporate audit staff and graduated GE’s Financial Management Program. Brett also spent six years with Fidelity Investments in Boston in the late 1990’s.

Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hobart College, and he received his Master of Business Administration from Boston College.

Jim Odell

General Counsel

Jim Odell is Money Mart Financial Services’s EVP and General Counsel. Jim brings over 30 years of international experience in the banking and financial services industries in both in-house general counsel roles and private practice.

Prior to joining Money Mart Financial Services in April 2017, Jim served in general counsel roles at UBS and the Corporate and Investment Bank at Citigroup, where he advised on many of the industry’s most significant transactions and regulatory matters, most notably during the Financial Crisis and its aftermath.

Jim was most recently a partner and the head of the financial services team at the law firm Blank Rome. Jim’s clients ranged from middle market and regional banks to private equity firms, hedge funds, and large global financial institutions. Previous to his general counsel roles, Jim’s private practice was concentrated on M&A and finance (including acquisition and leveraged finance) and banking and securities regulation.

Jim’s experience extends to a wide range of businesses within the financial services industry, from commercial banking, consumer and private banking, brokerage, asset management, fintech, payment, settlement and clearing. Jim has an established record of leading legal and compliance teams, as well as liaising with federal and state banking authorities, including the Federal Reserve, the CFPB, securities regulators, and law enforcement.

Greg Hall

Chief Marketing Officer

Greg Hall joined Money Mart Financial Services as the Chief Marketing Officer in October 2017. Prior to joining the company, Greg served as Chief Marketing Officer at Elevate, a leading provider of online credit solutions for non-prime consumers, and was instrumental in supporting Elevate through a successful IPO in April 2017. Greg is an experienced marketing executive and business leader, having held leadership roles at Capital One Auto Finance and HSBC Auto Finance. He also worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, as well as being the founder and Chief Executive Officer of an apparel company, Slix.

Greg has a BS in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA in Finance and Management & Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Angela Celestin

Chief Human Resources Officer

Angela Celestin joined Money Mart Financial Services as the Chief Human Resources Officer in 2018. Prior to joining the company, Angela served as Chief Human Resources Officer at OneMain Financial where she led HR, Compensation and Training teams in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico across branch and home office operations. Following the 2015 combination of OneMain Financial and Springleaf Financial, Angela spearheaded integration efforts through culture change, diversity and inclusion, as well as talent and leadership development initiatives.

Prior to OneMain, Angela spent 10 years at Citi’s Retail Bank leading HR best practices throughout NY and Chicago. She has also successfully negotiated many labor contracts at Pepsi and created proactive dispute resolution and union avoidance strategies during her tenure at RR Donnelley.

Angela has a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.

Mark McNally

Senior Vice President, Retail Operations

Mark McNally has been the Senior Vice President, Retail Operations since July 2018 and is responsible for our retail branch network across the US and Canada. Mark joined Money Mart in 1992 and, throughout his more than 26 years with the company, he has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and our people. Mark began his career as a Branch Manager, progressing to a District Manager and Regional Vice President in our Canadian market, most notably the Ontario & East territories. Prior to moving into his current role, Mark lead Money Mart’s Operations Support organization and provided strategic leadership in the areas of real estate, contact centers, operational controls and communications. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from Concordia University.

We operate approximately 600 stores in Canada under the Money Mart® and Insta Cheques® (Quebec) brands. As permitted by law, our Canadian stores offer unsecured short-term consumer loans, check cashing, Western Union®, reloadable Mastercard® prepaid debit cards and many more ancillary products. We also offer online loans to residents of Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Saskatchewan. Apply in Advance options are available to residents of Manitoba and New Brunswick.



Through our approximately 250 stores in the United States, we offer unsecured short-term consumer loans, secured pawn loans, check cashing, Western Union®, reloadable Mastercard® prepaid debit cards, gold buying and other ancillary products through the brands Money Mart®, The Check Cashing Store®, and Payday Loans. In addition, we currently offer unsecured, online loans to residents of California, Hawaii, Louisiana, Kansas and Florida.
