Since our founding in 1979, Money Mart Financial Services has been committed to our mission of serving our customers with straightforward, relevant products that meet their evolving financial needs. We began providing accessible and convenient financial services to unbanked and under-banked consumers as the Monetary Management Corporation, and later became DFC Global Corp. In January 2018, we began doing business as Money Mart Financial Services to reflect the expanded services we now provide our customers.

Glen Wakeman is the Chief Executive Officer of Money Mart Financial Services. He is a small business owner, investor, and executive mentor with an extensive management background in business development and P&L roles. He is passionate about building businesses by improving company and individual agility, and by applying a proven methodology that assesses and improves 5 key dimensions of performance: Leadership, Human Capital, Execution, Risk Management, and Governance.
Glen was most recently the Founder & President of Nova Four, a business accelerator that provides strategic advice and access to capital for developing companies. He performs CEO coaching and Board duties as a means of sustaining the improvements. Glen also works with early stage entrepreneurs through his startup: LaunchPadToolkit.com.
Previously, Glen was CEO & President of Doral Financial Corporation and Chairman of the Board at Doral Bank, a diversified financial services company engaged in mortgage banking, retail banking, commercial banking, institutional securities, and insurance agency operations. He recapitalized and transformed Doral Bank from a non-compliant, inefficient, mono-line bank holding company, into a streamlined community bank – including establishing a $2.7bn stand-alone US operation from the Puerto Rico headquarters.
Prior to running Doral, Glen spent over 20 years with GE Capital in progressively complex leadership roles including general management, business development, and operations management assignments. In his last role there, he was CEO of GE Money Latin America, where he built a 9 country operation from startup. He signed dozens of partnerships, created multiple new products, and built out a network of over 1,000 branches.
Glen has lived in 6 countries, been responsible for operations in over 30 countries, and was recognized by GE’s Board of Directors as a Growth Leadership role model. He received his MBA from the University of Chicago, his BS in Economics and Finance from the University of Scranton, and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
Brett Goodwin joined Money Mart Financial Services as the Chief Financial Officer in September 2017. Brett brings over 25 years of leadership experience across most aspects of the finance discipline within the financial services industry, including Capital Markets, Treasury, FP&A, Audit, and business line CFO roles.
Before joining the company, Brett held numerous finance and risk management leadership roles at GE Capital. Most recently he served as Managing Director of GE Corporate Treasury, where he was responsible for leading the implementation of an Interest Rate Risk Management program, finance fund transfer system, and supporting GE Capital America’s divestiture activities. Brett was also CFO of GE Capital’s Corporate Lending, Capital Markets, and Canadian business units. In addition, Brett was a CFO of a risk unit set up to deal with the financial crisis.
Earlier in his career, Brett worked on GE’s corporate audit staff and graduated GE’s Financial Management Program. Brett also spent six years with Fidelity Investments in Boston in the late 1990’s.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hobart College, and he received his Master of Business Administration from Boston College.
Zitah McMillan is the Chief Executive Officer of Money Mart Financial Services Rest of World, which includes oversight of operations in Poland, Spain, Finland, Sweden and Romania. Prior to joining the company in February 2015, Zitah served as the Executive Director of International Engagement and Communications at the UK Financial Conduct Authority, our primary regulator in the UK. During her stint at the FCA, Zitah transitioned the regulator from the Financial Services Authority into the new conduct regulator, as well as built and maintained regulatory relationships with regulatory authorities across the globe.
Zitah was also a member of the Executive Team at the Department for Work and Pensions – the largest Government Department in the UK, responsible for the Job Centre Plus network, Pensions Service, and Disability Service. As a Senior Civil Servant, she oversaw a radical overhaul of communications to job seekers and other customers of the Department .
She has previously held senior positions working with a variety of global consumer businesses such as L’Oreal and Proctor & Gamble, on businesses as diverse as healthcare to growing the client base of the London agency.
Jim Odell is Money Mart Financial Services’s EVP and General Counsel. Jim brings over 30 years of international experience in the banking and financial services industries in both in-house general counsel roles and private practice.
Prior to joining Money Mart Financial Services in April 2017, Jim served in general counsel roles at UBS and the Corporate and Investment Bank at Citigroup, where he advised on many of the industry’s most significant transactions and regulatory matters, most notably during the Financial Crisis and its aftermath.
Jim was most recently a partner and the head of the financial services team at the law firm Blank Rome. Jim’s clients ranged from middle market and regional banks to private equity firms, hedge funds, and large global financial institutions. Previous to his general counsel roles, Jim’s private practice was concentrated on M&A and finance (including acquisition and leveraged finance) and banking and securities regulation.
Jim’s experience extends to a wide range of businesses within the financial services industry, from commercial banking, consumer and private banking, brokerage, asset management, fintech, payment, settlement and clearing. Jim has an established record of leading legal and compliance teams, as well as liaising with federal and state banking authorities, including the Federal Reserve, the CFPB, securities regulators, and law enforcement.
Alison Perren is Money Mart Financial Service's Chief People Officer. Prior to joining the company, Alison served as the HR Director at Vodaphone, where she had primary responsibility for improving the overall experience for employees and customers of Vodafone.
Alison has more than 25 years of experience as a human resources and change leader, having held numerous senior HR Director and change leadership roles at WorldPay, Burger King, Yum! Brands, PepsiCO, and Ford Motor Company.
Greg Hall joined Money Mart Financial Services as the Chief Marketing Officer in October 2017. Prior to joining the company, Greg served as Chief Marketing Officer at Elevate, a leading provider of online credit solutions for non-prime consumers, and was instrumental in supporting Elevate through a successful IPO in April 2017. Greg is an experienced marketing executive and business leader, having held leadership roles at Capital One Auto Finance and HSBC Auto Finance. He also worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, as well as being the founder and Chief Executive Officer of an apparel company, Slix.
Greg has a BS in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA in Finance and Management & Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
